If you are aged between 10 and 14 you have the opportunity of fun, friends, excitement, going away, helping people out, travel, new experiences, having a say and making a difference if you become a Guide.
Being a Guide means being a team player. You’re a member of a Patrol, a Unit, a District, A Division, A County, a Region and also the largest female voluntary organisation in the world.
Guides work in Patrols, planning their own activities with the support of the Guide Guiders so that each Guide learns to share in decisions that affect herself and others in her Patrol. Guides take part in a wide range of activities including camps and holidays in the UK and abroad.
There’s no end to the things you can do at Guides. You’ll have a great time with your
Patrol trying out Go For It! Activity packs. You’ll have the chance to get active in your community, try exciting challenges, and take your pick from a huge range of interest badges. Then, of course, there’s the adventure of going away with your Guide friends. And it all comes together when you earn your Guide Challenge Badges.
So if you like craft or games or camping or cook outs or dressing up or out door activities or …………….. well, the possibilities are endless – then Guides is for you.
